stainless steel surfaces with a stainless
steel care product. Painted surfaces
should only be cleaned using a mild
detergent solution and a very soft cloth.
Only use a soft damp cloth to clean the
operating panel.
On hoods fitted with a panel below the
filter (edge extraction), grease deposits
occur at the edge of the panel. These
deposits occur for physical reasons and
are not due to a malfunction of the hood.
Please clean the panel underneath the
filter regularly to prevent the formation of
stubborn residues.

Fire hazard!
The performance of the extractor hood
is impaired by greasy residues and the
fire hazard is increased by the deposits.
To prevent the risk of fire, we recom-

With the glass panel open, hold the
metal filter by the filter grips and pull
down until the magnetic contact re-
leases. Now pull the metal filter out to-
wards the front. Filter installation in re-
verse order. The necessary cleaning of
the grease filter is also indicated by the
LED display after 15 operating hours,
the red LED on the roof unit begins to
light up – then please clean the filter.
Metal filters are best cleaned in the dish-
washer using a gentle detergent. The
