OPERATION / VENTILATION
( not valid for mirrors and stainless steel front )
The functions of the CARTA
-
Glas hood are controlled via a touch control panel.
( mirror and stainless steel versions via switch (Pos.11) and IR remote control ) .
The control unit has 3 fan power levels and one intensive level, as well as a lighting
funtion.

by pressing the respective power level, it becomes active
and starts somewhat delayed. Press power level again.
C
Intensive level
Int.
Press the Int symbol to activate the intensive stage (max. fan output).
The motor automatically switches back to the previously active stage after
approx. 3 minutes.
The active power stage is backlit.
D
Lighting
Press the lighting symbol to switch on the lighting.
Press the light symbol again Light goes out.
Dimming function via toggle switch (see page 29 )
E
Grease filter cleaning
If the grease filter indicator
( E )
flashes, the condensation filter must be cleaned.
After cleaning the filter, reinsert the filter and reset the grease filter display. Press
and hold symbol
"A"
for at least 3 seconds, symbol
"1"
no longer flashes. To
reset the grease filter display, the hood must be in
"ON"
mode. The grease filter
display is activated after max. 40 operating hours.
