Setting the Trigger Level
The trigger level controls the voltage point at which triggering takes place. The trigger level is set to
automatic
as a
standard feature ex works.
NOTE
To modify the trigger level, expert mode must be set to
>on<
.
Proceed as follows to set the trigger level manually while measurement is in progress:
1. Call up Settings with
.
2. Select the
>Trigger<
tab.
3. Open the list under
Trigger level
with
.
4. Select
>Manually<
.
5. Confirm the selection with
.
The selection will be saved automatically.
6. Set the trigger level with
.
You can also click in the signal depiction to set the trigger level.

Calibrating Signals
Here you can set the signal line on the zero line. In this way, you can compensate for interference voltages and
measuring range tolerances.
Proceed as follows to calibrate the signal while measurement is in progress:
1. Start the calibration with
>
.
The signal will be calibrated.
2. Go one step back with
.
8.1.5.2
Measuring Signals
Measurement must be completed to be able to measure the signal in the
Guided measurement
function.
Here you can measure the signal. For this, the device defines two measuring points and determines their differential
values.
Proceed as follows to measure the signal while measurement is in progress:
1. Open cursor settings with
.
2. Use
to shift the cursor to the 1st measuring point.
3. Start the signal measurement with
.
The first measuring point will be fixed. The left value windows are now indicating the differential values of both
measuring points. Before that, they indicated the position values of the first measuring point.
4. Use
to shift the cursor to the second measuring point.
5. Read the differential values of both measuring points in the left value windows.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for further entries where necessary.
7. Go one step back with
.
