HOW TO OPERATE
Before first use, clean the Bowl and Lid by removing the Lid from
the Bowl and wiping both with a moist, non-abrasive sponge, towel
or cloth. Dry thoroughly with a non-abrasive dry towel.
Remove the Stirring Rod from the Base by turning the Center Knob
counterclockwise. Wipe the Stirring Rod and Base with a moist,
non-abrasive sponge, towel or cloth and then wipe with a non-
abrasive dry towel. Replace the Stirring Rod and make sure the rod
fits into the notched area around the screw. Secure by turning the
Center Knob clockwise.
1. Find a flat surface near an electrical outlet before starting.
Make sure your power cable is away from any water source.
It is acceptable to use an extension cable if needed. But the
extension cable diameter must be equal to or greater than the
machine itself the wire diameter, and with a ground wire.
2. Gather your popcorn making supplies: popcorn, seasonings and
cooking oil.
3. Using Oil Measuring Cup, add 1 cup (about 35ml) of oil to the
nonstick Base (oil may also be added through the ventilation
slots).
4. Using the Kernel Measuring Cup (about 4 ounces), add 1 cup
of corn kernels and place the kernels in the nonstick Base (DO
NOT exceed 4 ounces of popcorn kernels).
5. For every Kernel Measuring Cup full of kernels (about 4 ounces),
add 1 Oil measuring Cup of oil (about 35ml). For best results,
soft-shelled popping corn and vegetable oil is recommended.
6. Plug in the appliance while the switch is in the OFF position.
7. Turn the appliance ON by flipping the switch on the front of the
Base. In no time at all, you will hear the popping begin.
8. Always remove the Lid while kernels are popping. This will allow
the steam to vent through the top.
9. Once popping stops, turn the appliance OFF, then unplug.
10. Secure the Lid to the top of the Bowl.
11. While wearing oven gloves, remove the Base and then flip the
lid over. You will have hot, fresh and delicious popcorn ready to
serve!
