Unit operates
long or
continuously.
1.
Dirty condenser.
2.
Shortage of refrigerant.
3.
Moisture in system.
4.
Compressor failing.
1.
Clean condenser.
2.
Remove charge into a refrigerant
recovery/recycling unit, repair leak and
recharge.
3.
Remove charge into a refrigerant
recovery/recycling unit, evacuate and
recharge system.
4.
Check compressor for proper pressures.
Replace if inadequate.
CAUTION: When evacuating either side of a double freezer DO NOT OPERATE THE OPPOSITE
SIDE. All control switches must be in the "OFF" position and the main power CORD(S) disconnected.
If power is applied to a compressor in a vacuum a short may occur CAUSING PERSONAL INJURY.
Discharge
pressure too
high..
1.
Water turned off or defective water
regulating valve.
2.
Restricted water cooled condenser.
3.
Dirty condenser.
4.
Unit location too warm (air cooled).
5.
Refrigerate overcharge.
6.
Air in system.
1.
Turn on water, replace regulating
valve, or install water valve kit.
2.
Check water lines to see if they are
kinked. Clean or replace condenser.
3.
Clean condenser.
4.
Relocate unit away from restriction.
Place nothing against the back or on
top of the unit.
5.
Bleed refrigerant charge into a
refrigerant recovery/recycling unit,
until sight glass bubbles (flashes) then
add refrigerant until sight glass clears.
6.
Purge system into a refrigerant
recovery/recycling unit, evacuate and
recharge.
CAUTION: When evacuating either side of a double freezer DO NOT OPERATE THE OPPOSITE
SIDE. All control switches must be in the "OFF" position and the main power CORD(S) disconnected.
