Solution 

To resolve the issue: 

1. 

Verify that the serial console cable is in good condition. 

2. 

Verify that the port settings are correct. 

3. 

If the issue persists, contact H3C Support. 

Interface module failure 

Symptom 

An interface module is installed in the device, but the LED for the interface module indicates that the 
module is operating incorrectly or faulty after the device is powered on. 

Solution 

To resolve the issue: 

1. 

Verify that the interface module has good contact with the backplane of the device. 

2. 

Verify that the device supports the interface module. 

3. 

Verify that a correct interface cable is used. 

4. 

Verify that the interface cable is connected correctly. 

5. 

If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.
