If
-a
or
-l
is not specified, the command displays details about the files and folders in the
specified directory in a list.
If no remote path is specified, this command displays the files in the current working
directory.
This command has the same effect as that of the
dir
command.
Examples
# Display the files in the current directory.
sftp-client> ls
-rwxrwxrwx 1 noone nogroup 1759 Aug 23 06:52 config.cfg
-rwxrwxrwx 1 noone nogroup 225 Aug 24 08:01 pubkey2

: Name of a directory on the remote SFTP server.
Description
Use the
mkdir
command to create a directory on the remote SFTP server.
Examples
# Create a directory named
hj
on the remote SFTP server.
sftp-client>mkdir hj
Received status: Success
New directory created
