Associating a VPN instance with a Layer 3 interface

Enter system view.

Associate a VPN instance with the interface.

By default, an interface is not associated with a VPN instance and it belongs to the public
network.
CAUTION:
Associating a VPN instance with an interface or disassociating a VPN instance from an
interface will clear the IP address and routing protocol settings of the interface.
Configuration of this command deletes the IPv6 address of the current interface. You must
reconfigure an IPv6 address for the interface after configuring the command.
Configuring route related attributes for a VPN instance
Restrictions and guidelines
If you configure route related attributes in both VPN instance view and VPN instance IPv6 address
family view, IPv6 VPN uses the configurations in VPN instance IPv6 address family view.
