Description
Use the
checkzero
command to enable zero field check on RIPv1 messages.
Use the
undo checkzero
command to disable zero field check.
The zero field check function is enabled by default.
After the zero field check is enabled, the router discards RIPv1 messages in which zero fields
are non-zero. If all messages are trusty, you can disable this feature to reduce the processing
time of the CPU.
Examples
# Disable the zero field check on RIPv1 messages for RIP process 100.
