Installing/removing a power module
WARNING!
In power redundancy mode, you can replace a power module without powering off the switch but
you must strictly follow the installation and procedures in
and
to avoid any bodily
injury or damage to the switch.
CAUTION:
•
Provide a circuit breaker for each power module.
•
If you are not to install a power module in a power module slot, install a filler panel in the slot.

Installing a power module
The switch provides two power module slots. You can install one power module or two power
modules for 1+1 redundancy.
To install a power module:
1.
Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure it makes good skin contact and is reliably grounded.
2.
Unpack the power module and verify that the power module model is correct.
Keep the packaging box and packaging bag of the power module for future use.
3.
Remove the filler panel, if any, from the target power module slot.
Keep the removed filler panel for future use.
