Symptom
The configuration terminal does not have any output when the switch is powered on.
Solution
To resolve the issue:

Verify that the power system is operating correctly.
2.
Verify that the console cable is connected correctly.
3.
Verify that the console cable does not have any problems and the terminal settings are correct.
4.
If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.
Garbled output
Symptom
The output of the configuration terminal is garbled.
Solution
To resolve the issue:
1.
Verify that configuration terminal settings are correct:
Baud rate
—9600.
Data bits
—8.
Parity
—None.
Stop bits
—1.
Flow control
—None.
2.
If the issue persists, contact H3C Support.
