Parameters
subaddress
: Supports subaddress allocation. That is, the DHCP server and clients are on the same
network segment, and the server allocates IP addresses from the address pool containing the network
segment of the first subaddress if several subaddresses exist.
Description
Use the
dhcp select
server
global-pool
command to enable the DHCP server on specified
interface(s). After the interface receives a DHCP request, the DHCP server will allocate an IP address
from the address pool.
Use the
undo dhcp select
server
global-pool
command to remove the configuration. That is, upon
receiving a DHCP request from a client, the interface will not assign an IP address to the client.
Use the
undo dhcp select
server
global-pool subaddress
command to cancel the support for
subaddress allocation.
By default, the DHCP server is enabled on an interface.
