Setup Safety
Refer to the Operation chapter of this manual for more information about setup procedures.
WARNING:
Always press
[EMERGENCY STOP]
on the lathe before you put your
hands inside the Bar Feeder enclosure. Unexpected rapid motion can
occur and cause injury.
Only a trained user may load and adjust the machine to feed bars. During setup, be aware
of these pinch points:
•
All parts of the moving mechanism. This includes the pusher assembly, spaces
inside the enclosure, and near the bar lifter and bar positioner arms.
•
The area between the bar and the lathe.
•
The area between the charging tray and the transfer tray.
•
Rolling bar stock can also pinch fingers.

Operational Safety
WARNING:
The area between the Bar Feeder and the lathe is hazardous. Always
press
[EMERGENCY STOP]
before you put anything between the Bar
Feeder and the lathe.
Before you run a program, always close the setup lid.
