Fill the Spindle Chiller
Leveling
1. Adjust the leveling screws to raise the machine 3" from the floor.
2. Place a bubble level on the center of the table parallel to the X-Axis. Adjust the leveling screws to level the
table.
3. Place the bubble level on the center of the table parallel to the Y-Axis. Adjust the leveling screws to level the
table.
4. Place a granite block on top of the bridge.
5. Place the bubble level on the granite block parallel to the Y-Axis.
6. Jog the bridge across the full travel. Verify that the readings are within the limit of 0.0002" over the full
travel.
7. Adjust the leveling feet as necessary. Re-check the bubble level.

Remove the spindle chiller fill cap [1] and add 4
gallons of a 50/50 distilled water/glycol mixture
(automotive antifreeze).
