2.6.4.7 Inverted Sugar
Under certain conditions, sugar inversion may occur during a run whereby the sugar
density changes. This affects the Brix calculations, which in turn can trigger the alarms
unneccessarily as limits are exceeded. This option allows you to overcome the problem,
by revising the target and alarm values on-line.
Should you have an issue with sugar inversion during the course of a run, then select this
button to change the inverted offset value.
Note:
Any changes to the offset value will be updated for this product in the product list file.
However, the original target and alarm values for the product will remain unchanged in
the product list file.
2.6.4.8 End
Select this button to stop the current product run.
The window illustrated left will be displayed.
Enter either the new target value or the new
offset value. Whichever value is entered, the
other will be computed.
The bar graph in the Numerical Indicator Panel
and the co-ordinates in the Graphic Panel will be
updated accordingly to reflect the new target and
alarm values.
