3624 ProBrix Plus - PC Program Setup
Operator Manual
ORBISPHERE
Note:
In order to access all of the necessary options in the Configuration Menu to initially load
and verify all the measurement parameters, the Line Status box should be left
unchecked (inactive) for both LINE A and LINE B.
Alarm reset button status
activates or deactivates the Alarms ON/OFF button in the
LINE window.
Lab Tests: Direct Offsets
determines how the
Lab Tests
are performed (see
). It is recommended to leave this box unchecked, meaning that Lab
Tests are performed in three standard steps with the computer calculating any offsets.
Checking this box overrides any calculations and requires you to enter your own offsets
manually.
Lab Tests: TpickUP [s]
is the time taken (in seconds) for an operator to go from the PC
to pick up a sample from the filling line. Please ensure that this parameter is as accurate
as possible as it used to retrieve measurement data during the
Lab Tests
process.
Display TRUE and PT CO2
configures the graphical representation window for CO
2
. If
this option is activated, details for both CO
2
PT and TRUE CO
2
are displayed on the
graph. If this option is deactivated, only details for the CO
2
method chosen for the current
product are displayed.
Line name
allows you to select the required LINE number (1-10). This name is used for
the audible alarms and defines the directory where measurement data is saved (not to
be confused with
Line A/B
).
COM port
defines the serial communications port used to communicate with the
instrument. This should have been set up at installation time, and would not normally
require changing.
Always Calib. Diet
allows you to change the way calibrations are made for diet
products. If this box is checked, and the production of a
Diet-m
product is started from
the instrument, a calibration window will be displayed on the PC screen, which asks you
to validate the calibration (see example in
“Manual Calibration” on page 60
). If this option
is not checked, the calibration is performed automatically as for a
Diet-a
product.
4.2.3 Products List
The
Products List
option allows you to set a number of parameters for each product.
There is one product list per LINE, each with a maximum of 9998 products. Note that
product zero is reserved for water measurement, and product 9999 is the default product
used by the system when the LINE is inactive. The default values for both of these
products are pre-set and cannot be modified.
First select the LINE you wish to enter/modify details for, by selecting either LINE A or
LINE B in the top left box.
Then select a product using one of the following methods:
• By typing the product number, if known, in the upper right-hand box
• By using the right-hand scroll bar
• By using the Search button to find a product name
