1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 General safety
instructions
The TV lift is built according to the state of the art and accepted technical
safety regulations. However, risks of injuries and product damages can oc-
cur when operating the device! The following safety instructions must be
observed during the operation, in order to prevent hazards.
Basic safety instructions for the operation
> Prior to using the TV lift, it must be mounted and properly connected by
qualified personnel. An arbitrary mounting is prohibited!
> Children may only use the TV lift under the supervision of an adult! Store /
attach the remote control and manual switch inaccessible to children.
> Verify that children cannot access the control unit.
> Never use the TV lift without an attachment to the furniture unit.
> Do not attach any objects on the TV lift, except a suitable flat screen TV. Do
not attach any additional objects or support yourself on the flat screen TV.
> Immediately disconnect the TV lift from the power supply and contact the
manufacturer in the event of damages, smoke development or the oc-
curence of unusual noises/odours.
> Do not install any heat sources in the vicinity of the TV lift
(candles, stoves, heaters, etc.).
> Do not use the TV lift longer than 2 minutes at a time or 6 minutes per hour.
Safety during the operation
> Alway keep visual contact with the TV lift while lifting / lowering.
> Never block the movement area of the TV lift with objects.
> Keep hands, long hair and loose clothing out of the area of the furniture
flap and the TV lift.
> Prior to lowering, check, if animals, children, etc. are located in the
> furniture box and may be locked in.
Electrical safety
> Never immerse the mains plug and the TV lift in water, expose to humidity,
wet clean or touch with wet hands.
> Do not place any containers filled with liquid on the furniture item or the
TV lift. These can fall over and water could run into the control unit.
Risk of short circuits and fire!
> Verify that the cables are not jammed or pulled when lifting / lowering.
> Never place any objects into the control unit.
> Never open the housing of the control unit.
> Pull the mains plug at extended absences.
> Never pull the mains lead, but always pull the mains plug.
> Do not interconnect any distributor boxes or adapters.
> Never replace or modify the mains plugs / mains leads.
> Verify that the power source corresponds with the mains voltage / power
frequency listed on the type plate.
