EG 470

Working principle :

The EG 470 is a time switch for the auto-
matic control of electrical loads.
It is fully programmable with a maximum
of 84 program steps to be divided bet-
ween the four channels. Each program
step can be applied to one or several
days, maximising the use of each memo-
ry location.
An input lets you simultaneously force
the 4 channels to OFF.
The front cover is sealable preventing
unauthorised access after completion of
programming.

Warning :

at the beginning of use, please 

reset the device in order to clear the 
memory before programming.
This is achieved by using a pen to push 
the reset button.

Running Auto mode

The switch to automatic mode is made automati-
cally if no key is pressed for 2 minutes.
You can also select the “

” mode by pressing

the key 

to place the cursor below “

”. 

This mode is the current displaying mode.
Display of the time, the day and the state of the
four channels.

This mode does not allow any modification, except 
the winter / summer time change.
Press key “

To check your program on channels A,
B, C or D : 

1. Press the key

repeatedly to place the

” repeatedly to display 

the different program steps (switching  
time, days of the week and state of the 
channel ON or OFF).

To override the output :

Permanent override :
The 3 position selector (

on

auto

off

) for channels

A, B, C or D allows in automatic mode the output to
be overriden ON or OFF. 

1. Move the 3 position selector for channels 

A, B, C or D to “ON” or “OFF”

2. A cursor on the display (in front of 

channels A, B, C or D) indicates the 
permanent override.

To switch back to automatic mode, move the 
selector to “

auto

”.

To modify or delete a program 
step on channels A, B, C or D :

1. Press the key

repeatedly to place the  

cursor below “

prog

” for channel A, B, C or D.

2. Press the key “

enter

” repeatedly to select  

the program step to modify or to delete.

3. Modify :
