The error status of the DALI devices can be
reported to the bus. Setting "Yes" activates
the reporting function and enables the
corresponding object.
Moreover, the parameter defines whether
the feedback telegrams are transmitted
actively (telegram transmission in case of
changes) or passively (telegram
transmission only as a response to a Read
request). The communication flags of the
object are automatically set by the ETS
according to the setting.
DALI Gateway mains
voltage failure/return

The DALI Gateway is able to monitor its
supply voltage (mains voltage connection)
and can transmit a message telegram to
the bus in case of failure even before
shutting down.
Setting "yes" activates the reporting
function and enables the corresponding
object.
Moreover, it determines whether the
message is to be transmitted only in case
of supply voltage failure or also in case of
supply voltage return.
DALI short-circuit

The DALI Gateway can transmit a
message telegram to the bus if it detects a
short-circuit in the DALI line.
The "yes" setting activates the reporting
function and enables the corresponding
object.
Alternatively, the “no” setting deactivates
the short-circuit message.

The “DALI short-circuit” or “DALI voltage
failure” messages will only be triggered if
the corresponding event has taking place
and in case the mains voltage for the
DALI Gateway is active.
•
The “DALI error status”, “DALI short-
circuit” or “DALI voltage failure”
messages will not automatically be
transmitted to the bus after the return of
bus voltage with bus voltage applied at
the DALI Gateway.
