FOAMER OPERATION–
To operate the foam marking system, locate the tog-
gle switch on the top of the hydrostatic lever (fig. 4.10D-1). Push the top of the switch
left if foam is desired from the left foam drop. Push the top of the switch right if foam is
desired from the right foam drop. Return the switch to the center position if no foam is
desired.
System pressure is indicated by a pressure gauge on the regulator which is
mounted next to the foam tank (fig. 4.10D-2) To adjust the air pressure in the foam
tank, turn the knob on the regulator clockwise for more pressure, and counterclock-
wise for less pressure. To correctly decrease the pressure in the foam tank,
you must first open either the left or right foam valve for a moment to relieve
system pressure. Then adjust regulator accordingly.
