OPERATING SYSTEMS
POWER PORTS-
On the front of the side console there are two power
ports (fig. 24-1) for extra equipment to be plugged in. They are each protected
by a 15 amp fuse. They are not intended for the permanent connection of extra
systems to the sprayer. There is a terminal strip intended for the installation of
extra radios and computer equipment. See the SERVICE section E on the elec-
trical components.

FOAMER SWITCH–
The foamer switch on the top of the hydrostatic lever (fig. 24.2, item A) controls the
foam option on either side of the machine. See OPERATING SYSTEM section D for more information on the
foamer.
MAIN SOLUTION SWITCH–
The main spray control (fig. 24-2, item E) in the lower middle of the hydro-
static lever is so the operator can turn all spray valves off at one time. See
OPERATING SYSTEMS section D on spray systems for more information.
FORWARD CONTROL–
The hydrostatic lever is responsible for the
direction of motion of the machine. To move forward, slowly move the hydro-
static lever forward. (fig. 24-2, item F)
REVERSE CONTROL–
To move the machine in reverse, slowly move
the hydrostatic lever backward. (fig. 24-2, item H) Be sure that the machine
is clear of all dangers before putting it in reverse.
NEUTRAL POSITION–
The neutral position is also the stop or brake
position. (fig. 24-2, item G) The neutral position must be met before changing
direction of the machine. There are several functions that can not be per-
formed if the machine is not in the neutral position.
More information on the forward, reverse, and neutral positions of
the hydrostatic lever is available in section B of the OPERATING SYS-
TEMS.
LIFT, LEVEL, HORIZONTAL FOLD-
(fig. 24-2, items B, C, &D) are all a part of the hydraulic system.
A complete explanation of their functions can be found in section C of the OPERATING SYSTEMS.
