The rung-step rotary modules can be converted into
a ladder step or a ladder rung.
• Position „A“ = ladder rung
(use of the rung as a transport route)
• Position „B“ = ladder step
(use of the step as a workstation)
Operation of the locking element [I]:
1. Press both release buttons [I-1], the „RED“
display [I-3] is visible, the rung-step rotary
module [H] is unlocked and can be pivoted.
2. Rotate the rung-step module to the position of
the ladder step, the rotary module automatically
locks in. The „GREEN“ display [I-2] is visible,
the rotary module [H] is locked and can be
climbed.
To turn the rung-step rotary module back into the
original position, proceed in the same manner.
7.5 Set-up and use as a stepladder
1. Place the ladder on the ground and raise it until
it is vertical. Unlock the extension ladder [J],
position it one or two rungs higher and lock it
again.
2. Unlock the extension section [B] of the steplad-
der [A] at the lock hook [E] and unhinge, pulling
forward and thereby opening the stepladder
completely.
3. The tensioning strap [F] must be completely
taut. The ladder side rail of the extension
section [B] must be in a locked position at the
guide bracket of the stepladder [A].
4. Unlock the extension ladder [J] on the locking
hook [E] and push it into the desired position
on the ladder guide. Then securely lock it to the
ladder rung again.
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Only climb the ladder when the rung-step rotary
module is securely locked. The locking guide
„GREEN“ [I-2] must be fully visible.
