Use only with the
SW-050100EU power pack.
WARNING: To recharge the battery, use
only the removable power pack supplied
with the equipment.
When charging, it is advisable to switch the trimmer off (On/Off button set
to 0, Fig. 1-B).
3.1.1.
Charging the trimmer from the mains supply

Insert the electrical lead into the socket of the trimmer (Fig. 2a).
◼
Connect the power pack (Fig. 1-H) to a mains power socket.
◼
During charging, the On/Off button flashes (Fig. 1-B).
◼
At the end of charging, the indicator light comes on steadily. Unplug the power
pack. The trimmer can now be used without the electrical lead.
3.1.2.
Charging the trimmer on the charger base

Insert the electrical lead into the charger base socket (Fig. 2b).
◼
Insert the power pack in a mains power socket.
◼
Put the trimmer on the charger base (Fig. 1-G).
◼
At the end of charging, the indicator light comes on steadily. The trimmer can
now be used without the electrical lead.
3.2.
OPERATION
When first used, lubricate the cutters by applying a drop of oil to the points
shown (Fig. 4).
3.2.1.
Switching on/off

Switch the trimmer on by pressing the On/Off button (Fig. 1-B). The button
lights up.
◼
To stop the trimmer, press the On/Off button again (Fig. 1-B). The button goes
out.
◼
When the trimmer is not in use, it is advisable to clip the blade cover (Fig. 1-K)
onto the blade.
3.2.2.
Use with or without power lead
◼
With a new, fully charged battery, the trimmer can be used without the power
lead for about 4 hours.
