• Our repair service arranges an on-site visit in advance with the consumer and
shall carry out the visit in the morning or afternoon of the agreed day.
To whom and when shall consumers report their warranty claims?
Consumers’ warranty claims shall be reported to the repair service indicated on
the attachment of the warranty card or to the dealer. Consumers are obliged to
communicate their objection immediately after a defect has been discovered. The
user is responsible for any damage resulting from a delay in communication.
Procedures for disputes regarding the nature of the defect:
• If the repair service does not recognize the legitimacy of the complaint, you
can request an expert opinion from the General Inspectorate for Consumer
Protection. If the repair service demonstrably does not fulfil its obligations as
stated above, consumers can contact the quality inspection body themself.
• The examination and expert opinion carried out by the quality inspection body
is subject to a fee.
• The positions and statements of both the repair service and the consumer must
be stated on the application form for an expert opinion.
The repair service or the dealer is obliged to record consumers’ complaints
with the following contents and hand a copy over to consumers:
• name and address of consumer
• name of product, purchase price
• date of purchase
• defect notification date
• consumer’s demand
The expert opinion of the Consumer Protection Inspectorate is not binding on
the distributor. If the distributor does not accept the expert opinion, consumers
can turn to the Conciliation Board for an out-of-court settlement (for a HUF
1,000 procedural fee, it takes a decision within max. 60 days, and can make the
complaint and recommendation public), or they can go to the Court.
Warranty for our appliance is void if:
•
the appliance was not put into operation as prescribed in the operating
instructions, or was installed incorrectly,
• when repairing the appliance, components were installed that are not certified
and marketed by our company,
• our company or the repair service entrusted with carrying out warranty repairs
can prove that the defect is due to water contamination, insufficient water
pressure, service disruption, improper use, conversion, incorrect handling, lack
of maintenance, improper storage, damage as a result of natural causes or
other reasons that occurred after purchase.
