INABILITY TO ACHIEVE FULL HEIGHT
- When stored or left standing for prolonged periods, air may enter
the hydraulic system.
To purge the air from the system:
•
Turn the lowering knob 1-1/2 turns counter clockwise (opening the release valve) and operate the jack
using the lifting lever on the air valve body for 15-20 seconds.
•
Close the release valve, and loosen the bolt (see diagram) ½ turn. Operate the air pump whilst
tightening and loosening the bolt.
•
Close the release valve (turn the knob clockwise
– do not over tighten) and check the functionality of
the jack.
Note:
During regular use, internal valving should automatically purge air from the hydraulic system.
HANDLE POSITION
- To change the handle position:
•
Pull up on the lock lever.
•
Position the handle in one of the three available positions. Make sure the handle engages in one of
the three position holes.
•
Push down on the lock lever to lock the handle in place.
Note:
The handle is to be used only for moving the jack.
