Adding the Keypad to your Halo system
Halo accessories are easy to add to your existing system. To do this you need to ‘learn’ each
accessory into the system and then name them in your online account (you can leave the
default name if you wish). The button located on the back of the Halo panel is the ‘learn’
button; when this is pressed the panel beeps to signify that it has been placed into ‘learn’
mode. Only the top LED is lit during this process (flashing). New devices can be registered
only when the panel is in ‘learn’ mode. Press the ‘learn’ button a second time to take the
panel out of ‘learn’ mode.

Pull and remove the battery tab from the sensor to power it up

Place the panel into ‘learn’ mod
3.
Press and hold * and # buttons together. The panel will beep once to confirm

Press the learn button on the back of the Halo panel a second time to exit ‘learn’
mode
Your Keypad has now been added to your Halo alarm system. You can now see this device
in your account on the My Equipment page.
Placing your device
The Keypad can be securely screwed to any suitable surface in a property, or affixed using
the adhesive pads provided.
Using the screws
Mounting the Keypad using screws:
1.
Remove the 2 slide-‐out sections of the front cover
2.
Using the 2 mounting holes as a template, mark the hole positions in the most
appropriate place
3.
Drill and insert the wall plugs if fixing into a plaster or brick surface
4.
Screw the Keypad into the wall plugs
5.
Replace the 2 slide-‐out sections
