Turn [SCROLL/SELECT] to select the option “Keep network
connection?” (YES/NO) and confirm your selection by
pressing [SCROLL/SELECT].

The network wizard search starts automatically and
searches for available WLAN networks.
Note – Keep network connection
•
For the “Keep network connection?” option, select
yes so that the radio will remain connected to the
network even in standby mode or in operating modes
that do not require a WLAN connection (e.g. AUX
mode).
•
This guarantees that when the radio is switched on
that it is able to establish an Internet connection
more quickly and that it is able to call up the exact
time and date, etc.
•
Note, keeping the network connection uses more
power than in standard standby mode.
•
Turn [SCROLL/SELECT] to select the WLAN region and
confirm your selection by pressing [SCROLL/SELECT].
Entering the WLAN key
This step is not necessary for unsecured networks. If the
selected network is password-protected, you will be asked
for the
Key
: Enter the password/WLAN key as follows:
•
Turn [SCROLL/SELECT] to select either numbers, letters or
special characters, and confirm your selection by pressing
[SCROLL/SELECT].
•
To undo an incorrect entry, turn [SCROLL/SELECT] until
the
BKSP
button is selected. Confirm your selection by
pressing [SCROLL/SELECT].
•
After you have entered the correct password/WLAN key,
turn [SCROLL/SELECT] until the
OK
button is selected.
Confirm your selection by pressing [SCROLL/SELECT].
Note – WLAN key
•
After you have entered the password/WLAN key
correctly, the radio stores it so you don’t have to enter
it again.
•
To go back to selecting your WLAN network (
SSID
), turn
[SCROLL/SELECT] until the
CANCEL
button is selected.
Confirm your selection by pressing [SCROLL/SELECT].
•
After the connecting process,
Setup wizard completed
will appear on the display. Press [SCROLL/SELECT] to exit
the setup wizard.
Media menu
appears in the display.
6.3 Starting up without the setup wizard
If you decide not to use the setup wizard the first time you
turn on the radio, you have the option of running the setup
wizard automatically the next time you turn it on.
•
To have the setup wizard run automatically the next time
you start up the radio, turn [SCROLL/SELECT] until the
appropriate button is selected. Confirm your selection by
pressing [SCROLL/SELECT].

many times as you want.

Turn [SCROLL/SELECT] in the

System settings
option is selected. Confirm your

option is selected. Confirm your selection
by pressing [SCROLL/SELECT]. The setup wizard starts up.
7. Operating the Internet Radio
Note – Returning to the previous menu

To return to your previous selection, press
BACK.

•
You can access the main menu in any submenu or
mode by pressing [MENU].

Internet radio, the music player and Aux in.
