1. Introduction
The Temperature Sensor is designed to monitor the temperature of a
specifi c area, whether that is the indoor temperature or outdoor temperature.
It works in conjunction with the AS-200 Series Control Panel. When the
actual temperature exceeds the preset limit, the control panel will either alert
you or alarm will be triggered.
In this package, you should fi nd the temperature sensor, 2 lithium batteries
(inside the unit), an external measuring probe for measuring outdoor
temperature and mounting accessories.
Please follow the instructions below to set up the temperature sensor.
2. Learn Sensor to AS-200 Series Control Panel
In order for the sensor to communicate with the control panel properly,
the sensor must be programmed to the control panel. Follow the brief
instructions below or refer to the detail instructions from the AS-200 Series
User’s Instructions to program the sensor to the control panel. Before
proceeding, please remove the battery isolator from the sensor.
Step 1:
Press and hold the Learn Button on the Control Panel for 3 seconds.
Control Panel beeps once and you may release the Learn Button.
Step 2:
Press the zone button (1, 2, 3, or 4) once, for which you want to program
the sensor to. The selected Zone LED will fl ash.
Step 3:
Activate the Temperature Sensor by pressing the learn button (red) on
the Temperature Sensor.
