Teller Door Adjustment Instructions

5)

Loosen H3581 spring plunger so that the door closes without contacting the H3581 spring plunger.

6)

Loosen H3580 hex head screws that are holding B6562 detent mounting block and slide the
B6562 detent mounting block to the maximum left side of its slot.

7)

Retighten the H3580 hex head screws to hold the B6562 detent mounting block in place.

8)

Adjust the latching force

. Adjust H3581 spring plunger in until you achieve the desired latching

force of the teller door. This is done by rotating the teller door so that it passes the H3581 spring
plunger.

Note: Do not over tighten the H3581 spring plunger. This will cause the body of the

H3581 spring plunger to wear against the door and fail prematurely.

9)

Adjust the position of the B6562 detent mounting block

. Loosen H3580 hex head screws

holding B6562 detent mounting block, and slide the block towards the right until it contacts the
door in the fully closed position and retighten the H3580 hex head screws. You may have to fine
tune this position to achieve a tight seal on the door.

10)

Test door operation

. Test teller door to confirm desired latching force and to confirm a tight seal

on the door uprights. Adjust if necessary.
