Remove waffle with plastic or 

wooden utensil. Never use metal. 

This will damage the nonstick 

coating of the appliance. Unplug 

unit when through cooking. Let 

cool completely before removing 

cooking grids. NOTE: Always use 

the grid release button to remove 

the grids.

Control dial should now be on 

top. Using an oven mitt, lift  

handle straight up to open. 

NOTE: Lifting the handle is easy 

and doesn’t require force.

Within 10 seconds of closing 

cover, rotate handle to the right 

to lock cover into place. Control
