 Portable Digital Jukebox

Power Connection

Connecting AC Power:

Connect the DC output of the AC / DC adapter to the

DC IN

socket at the back of the unit and insert the AC plug

into standard AC wall outlet.

Batteries Operation:

Before installing batteries (not included), ensure that the unit is disconnected from the Adapter. Remove the

battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit by carefully pushing the two lugs down. The battery cover

can then be lifted away.

Insert six 1.5V “C” or “LR 14” new batteries using the correct polarity markings, and then replace the cover.

(The use of alkaline batteries is recommended).

Note: Be sure to remove the DC input jack when using batteries.

Main Operation

Turning Power On For the First Time:

Plug into DC input jack or insert batteries (never have both batteries and AC / DC adapter plugged in

simultaneously). Slide

POWER

 switch to

ON

position to turn on the unit. The unit display will light up.

Lock On / Off:

After turning on the unit, slide the

LOCK ON / OFF

 button to

OFF

position to unlock all the keys.

To lock all the front panel keys, slide the LOCK button to ON position. It is important to switch the unit lock

button off to allow full button functionality. (The Power Switch and the Volume Dial will work normally even when

the Lock button is activated)

Selecting Different Audio Input Sources (Juke24™ Playlist / CD / USB / AUX / PC):

After turning on the unit, press the

SOURCE

button to select your desired audio source.

Adjusting Sound Volume:

After turning on the unit, turn the

VOLUME

dial to set your desired sound level.

CD Operation

The unit is designed to play standard music CD or MP3 CD bearing the proper identification logos. If the disc

does not conform to the standard, it may not play back properly.

Caution:

Playback of CD-R / CD-RW may depend on recording conditions.
•   Do not attach a seal or label to either side (the recordable side or the labeled side) of a CD-R / RW disc. It

may cause a playback malfunction.

•   Do not load a blank CD-R / RW disc. It will take over one minute to read the disc. The disc may be damaged

if you try to open the CD door while reading the disc.

NOTE:

CD-ROM, CD-I, CDV, VCD, DVD or computer CDs are not compatible.

Loading Disc:

1.  Press the DOOR OPEN button to open the CD door and place a CD into the CD compartment with the printed

side facing toward you.

2.  Gently close the CD door and select the CD source. The system will begin to read the disc. Once it is fully

loaded, the display will indicate the total number of tracks and playtime on the disc.
