6. MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: All maintenance operations must be performed after cutting off the hydraulic
power supplies.
6.1
M
AINTENANCE OF MECHANICAL COMPONENTS
The main maintenance operations to be carried out are the following:
•
Constant cleaning of the equipment.
•
Lubrication according to the intervals and indications provided.
•
Periodic inspection (annual) for mechanical components less subject to wear.
•
Verification of the correct operation of the moving parts.
IMPORTANT
Failure to comply with scheduled maintenance automatically invalidates the warranty.

•
Periodically check the connections of the flexible and rigid pipes to detect any leaks and to avoid
infiltration of dust or other elements in the hydraulic circuit.
•
Keep the filters constantly clean and check the degree of deterioration of the hydraulic oil of the
machine on which the CRUSHER is mounted to prevent the infiltration of foreign bodies and/or
impurities that could damage important parts of the equipment, compromising its correct operation.
•
Periodically check the tightness of the articulation seals and actuators (cylinder and rotation motor),
especially if these are very stressed. In case of large oil leaks, replace the gaskets.
•
Keep the cylinder rod and the pinion-crown gear coupling of the slewing ring constantly clean.
•
Check that the movements of the cylinder rod are linear, i.e. without oscillations that would be caused
by wear on the rod guiding rings.
•
In the event of seizure of the rod, following the infiltration of foreign bodies, replace the rod itself, the
seals and the guide rings.
•
Check that the rotation is continuous, without vibrations and/or jamming that would be caused by the
wear of the pinion-crown gear coupling of the slewing ring.
•
In the event of problems with the pinion-crown gear coupling of the rotation slewing ring, replace the
worn member.
