TROUBLESHOOTING
Suspected malfunctions are often due to causes that the users can fix themselves.
Therefore, check the product using this section. In most cases the problem can be solved
quickly.
WARNING:
Only perform the steps described within these instructions! All further
inspection, maintenance and repair work must be performed by an authorised service
centre or a similarly qualified specialist if you cannot solve the problem yourself!

Product does not start.
Battery pack is depleted.
Charge the battery.
Tool is over-loaded.
Release the variable-speed
trigger switch and try again.
Battery pack is
overtemperature
Turn off the tool and cool the
battery pack under air flow.
Battery pack is not installed
properly.
Confirm battery is locked and
secured to the tool.
Burned out switch.
Have the tool serviced by an
Authorized Service Center.
Excessive vibration
Blade is bent.
Discard blade and use
different blade.
Blade not secure in blade
holder.

Cut binds, stalls motor or
kicks back when cutting
Dull blade with improper
tooth set.
Discard blade and use a
different blade.
Tip of blade strikes
workpiece or inside of pipe.
Do not strike tip of blade
while cutting and make sure
that blade is long enough to
cut through a pipe.
