Check Engine Coolant Level
With engine cool and unit on level surface, check
coolant level at fill before startup and every 10
hours of operation. Add DEAC at fill (1) to maintain
coolant level at halfway to the bottom of the fill pipe
(2).
Check Hydraulic Fluid Level
With engine cool and unit on level surface, check
hydraulic oil level before startup and every 10
hours of operation. Add HF at fill (1) to maintain
fluid level at halfway point on sight glass (2).
Contents under pressure. Relieve pressure before
opening. Death or injury could occur.
To help avoid injury:
•
Do not remove the pressure cap from a hot engine.
•
Wait until the coolant temperature is below 122°F (50°C) before removing pressure cap.
•
Do not stand near or over the expansion tank while operating the engine with the pressure cap off.
