IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Read all the safety information before
operating the equipment.
Keep these instructions.
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
To reduce the risks of fire or explosion, electric
shock and injury to persons, read and understand
all the instructions included in this manual. You
must be familiar with the controls and proper use
of the equipment before you start to use it.
CAUTION – To reduce the risk of
electric shock.
• Do not handle the power cord roughly.
• Do not use the product if the power cord
is damaged. This must be replaced by the
manufacturer’s authorised service agent or
qualified personnel.
• Never use the power cord to pull, carry or
unplug the Hammersmith Paint Blast.
• Keep the cord away from sources of heat, oil, sharp
edges and/or other objects with moving parts.
• Do not use the Hammersmith Paint Blast if the
switch does not turn on or turn off the device.
Any power tool that cannot be controlled with an
on/off switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Always turn off and unplug the power cord from
the power point before modifying its settings
or changing the accessories.
• The plug must be connected to the mains.
• Never alter the plug.
• Do not expose your Hammersmith Paint Blast
to rain or moisture.
• When operating the Hammersmith Paint Blast
outdoors use an extension cord suitable for
outdoor use.
• If it is unavoidable to use the paint sprayer in a
wet environment, use a residual current device
protection system.
• Always disconnect the device from the power
supply before cleaning.
• Never immerse the electrical parts in water.
• Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces,
such as pipes, radiators, ovens and
refrigerators. There is a high risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• The electric cable must be connected to a
grounded circuit.
• Use grounded extension cords.
• Check that all containers and collection systems
are grounded to prevent static electricity.
• Do not use 3 to 2 prong adapters.

of explosion or fire.
• Paint solvent vapours may explode or ignite.
• There may be damage to property and/or the
user.
PREVENTION
• Make sure the area where you will use the
Hammersmith Paint Blast is widely and
permanently ventilated in order to avoid the build-
up of flammable vapours. Flammable vapours are
often heavier than air and can build-up in the soil.
• Keep the area of application, clean, well lit and
free of containers of paint or solvents, rags and
other flammable materials; there is a risk of
spontaneous combustion.
• Never use plastic to isolate the area where
you will spray. Do not wear plastic clothing or
