CONTROL MODE (S)
This allows you to determine how the Drawbars will function with the Preset Keys.
A
<
/B
Each operation of the Drawbars for the “A
<
” and “B” Preset Keys affects only the corresponding
Adjust Presets.
When Preset Keys “C” -- “A” are selected, moving the Drawbars will have no effect.
ALWAYS A
<
The operation of the “B” Drawbar set is effective only when “B” Preset Key is selected. The “A#”
Drawbar set can be uaed to change any selected Preset from “C” through “A.”
NOTE: See the figure on the next page for more information about Drawbar Control
Mode as well as Assignable Drawbars, which is explained on the next page.
DAMPER
On an acoustic piano, pressing the right-most
pedal moves the felt dampers away from the
strings, allowing them to sound continually
until the notes fade away. The DAMPER fea-
ture replicates this effect.
SUSTAIN
On an organ, such as the XK-5, the word “SUS-
TAIN” refers to the amount of time a note con-
tinues to sound after a key is released. On a
synthesizer this would be called “T4” or “Re-
lease.”
