Inspection before and during use
Check the jack before and after use according
to the instructions below:
– Visually inspect the jack before use
for deformation, cracks in or beside
welds, leakage of hydraulic oil, and
for damaged, loose, worn or missing
parts.
– If the jack has been exposed to
abnormal loads or knocks, or if
vibrations or abnormal noise occur
when in use it must be checked. We
recommend taking the jack to an
authorised service centre to be
checked.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read and understand these safety
instructions before using the jack and
carefully follow them to avoid personal
injury or material damage.
• Never overload the jack.
• The jack is only intended for lifting and
lowering vehicles. It must not be used for
jacking up vehicles for long periods.
• It is absolutely prohibited to go under, or
do any work under, a vehicle resting only
on the jack without the support of jack
stands.
• Jacked up vehicles must be safely braked
and/or chocked so that they cannot move.
• Only lift vehicles in the jack retainers or
lifting points specified by the
manufacturer.
• It is prohibited to modify the jack in any
way.
• The jack must not be used to lift persons.
• The person operating the jack must have
full control of the jack and the vehicle or
object being lifted or lowered.
• Make sure that all the stickers or other
markings on the jack are legible and in
good condition.
• Do not use the jack in the following
circumstances:
– In extreme conditions, e.g. very low
or very high ambient temperatures,
or in strong magnetic fields.
– In connection with explosive
substances, explosive charges etc.
– To lift or lower objects containing
melted metal, acid, radioactive
substances, or loose or inadequately
fixed parts.
– Situations where the jack can come
into contact with food.
– Onboard vessels or other craft.
