Diagnostic Test 04 / BO (Bobbin Winder Switch)
1. LCD displays “04 and “BO”.

Push the bobbin winder to the right and you
will see the contacts of the microswitch. When
the bobbin winder is pushed to the left, the
microswitch should be closed.

If the display does not change from OFF to
ON, locate and loosen the large Phillip’s set
screw that holds the micro switch in place.
Move the unit to the right accordingly; then
tighten the screw. If an adjustment is made,
push the bobbin winder to the left and to the
right making sure the display symbol changes
from ON to OFF. See Diagnostic Appendix, 04
for more information.

the right, buzzer sounds and LCD

moved to the left, buzzer sounds and the
bobbin winder
symbol disappears.
