Press the downside top trunnion safety
edge – the lift should stop. Drive the lift
in the down direction.

Check the safety edges on the footplate
(Figure 120)

Drive the lift in the up direction.

Press the upstairs edge of the footplate
– the lift should stop.

– the lift should stop.

Drive the unit in the down direction.

Press the underside of the footplate
– the lift should stop.

Check the swivel interlock
(Figure 121)

Drive the lift in the up direction.

Swivel the seat – the lift should stop.

Drive the lift in the down direction.

Swivel the seat – the lift should stop.

Check the stopping distance of the lift:
a
Using the handset, drive the lift in the down
direction.
b
After the lift has travelled for about 2
seconds, release the down button.
c
Check that the lift stopped within 20mm of
the point where the button was released.
Power footplate only

For seat operated versions:
a
Lift the front seat squab.
b
The footplate should lift.
c
Lower the front seat squab.
d
The footplate should lower.
Manual swivel only
1
Check the swivel interlock:
a
Drive the lift in the up direction.

Swivel the seat – the lift should stop.
c
Drive the lift in the down direction.
d
Swivel the seat – the lift should stop.
