Third section
1
Set the next stanchion one down from
the last stanchion at the top of the stairs.

Add the top rail section.

Set the next stanchion from the one above.

Add the bottom rail section.

Install all of the remaining stanchions without
adjusting the height.

Add all of the track bolts. These should
be hand-tightened to a torque of 25Nm
(Figure 10)

Check all stanchion heights and tighten the
stanchions
(Figure 11)

Note:
For multi-flight stairs push cable
through each separate section of rail.

Fasten some of the screws to the stanchion
feet, typically two per metre, to hold the
rail captive, allowing the power pack to be
installed and checked.
Note:
Care must be taken to ensure the rail
is secure enough to carry out the installation
and checks; add more screws if required.
