Replacing the back wheel 12”
•
See fig. 020712010.
When replacing the rim on a back wheel, the wheel may not be
braked.
Replace this as follows:
•
Support the wheelchair so that the wheel is elevated.
•
Remove the cap (A) with a screwdriver.
•
Loosen nut (B) with a box spanner with a spanner width of
19 mm.
•
Pull the wheel (C) off the shaft (D).
Take care not to lose the washers (E).
Now the new wheel can be placed in reverse order.

3.3
Back wheels 24"
For the proper functioning of the wheelchair it is very important that the tires are kept at the correct pressure.
Soft tires yield less optimal driving for the wheelchair. It also costs more energy to move the wheelchair forward.
Moreover, tire wear when driving on soft tires is unnecessarily great.
For the right tire tension, see 'Product specifications'.
Note when filling the tires that the pressure never exceeds the maximum specified value provided
in the table 'product specification', or as indicated on the side of the tire. In case of doubt contact
the dealer / supplier.

3.3.1
Tire repair back wheel 24"
Repairing a leaking tire should be done as follows:
•
Remove the back wheel to be repaired from the wheelchair. See ’Removing the back wheels’.
•
Twist off the valve to let the air out of the tire completely.
•
Using tire levers, pull one side of the tire across the edge of the rim.
•
Remove the inner tube from the rim.
•
Repair the inner tube or replace it (this is done in the same way as a bicycle tire).
