Insert the blind nuts supplied with the motor in the back
of the motor box plate.
8.
Position the motor box plate fully forward when using the
recommended E-Flite motor. The mount is adjustable for
a variety of motors.
9.
Slide the plate back and apply a thin coat of 30-minute
epoxy to the motor box where the plate comes in contact
with the box.
10.
Slide the plate forward. Use a paper towel and isopropyl
alcohol to remove any excess epoxy.
12.
Secure the radio battery in the fuselage using hook and
look tape and hook and loop straps.
13.
Attach the motor box to the fi rewall using four M5 blind
nut, four M5 washers and four M5 x 25 socket head cap
screws. Use threadlock on the blind nuts to prevent them
from vibrating loose.
14.
Attach the motor to the motor box using the hardware
provided with the motor. Use threadlock on the screws
before installing them into the blind nuts.
15.
Install any connectors necessary to connect the speed
controller to the motor and battery. The speed controller
can then be mounted to the side of the motor box.
Connect the motor, and secure the wires so they don’t
interfere with the operation of the motor.
16.
Use the hook and loop straps to secure the batteries to
the battery tray. Make sure not to cover any warning
labels on the battery.
Reposition the batteries as necessary to achieve the
correct Center of Gravity depending on your motor selection.

Once the epoxy fully cures, install the triangle stock on
the inside of the motor box. Make sure to cut the triangle
stock so it does not cover the blind nuts and fi ts tight into
the corners of the motor box.
