3.2 Maintenance
-
free batteries with power level indicator: The user needs to add some water and
liquid during use.
3.2.1 Battery inspection
When the battery capacity status is normal and the electrolyte density reaches the standard, the
observation window shows green. When the battery capacity is insufficient, and the density of the
electrolyte is reduced, the observation window is white. If the observation window is red, it indicates
a serious shortage of electrolyte, and the case should be carefully checked for cracking, leakage or
battery failure.
1. Green: Sufficiently charged.
2. White: Insufficiently charged.
3. Red: Replace battery.
See tips on the battery label for details about battery display state.
3.2.2 Battery inspection
1) Ensure that the built
-
in capacity display (observation window) is green.
2) Disconnect the battery negative ground strap to prevent battery discharge due to additional current
drain.
3) When batteries cannot be removed from the truck, they should be kept fully charged.
4) A regular schedule should be formulated, and batteries should be charged once every 30
-
45 days.
5) When the green state is not visible through the observation window, batteries should be checked
and charged, distilled water should be supplemented, or the batteries should be replaced.
3.3 Standard lead
-
acid battery: The user should keep an eye on the liquid level during use so water
can be added as required.
3.3.1 Battery inspection
As the ambient temperature around the forklift truck is high, batteries consume water easily; please
keep an eye on liquid level during use; there is a filling hole on the upper cover of the battery; when
the liquid level is lower than minimum level, please add distilled water to the upper level; do not
overfill or the liquid will overflow and corrode the truck.
