Ensure that patient can comfortably grip the handle. The straight handle should be used when performing Lower
Extremity exercise. Rotate the patients legs through one complete revolution to verify that there are no restrictions
or pinch points before beginning the exercise program.
NOTE:
Do not pause the treatment to place another patient as the Omnicycle
®
will pick up where the previous
exercise paused.

To change the handles, depress the pin on the handle. The armrest or handles can then be removed. On
replacement, the new handles will automatically snap into place. Make sure the handles are securely in
place before use.

Use optional armrests for patients with limited mobility. Make sure the patient’s arms are comfortably
secured.
Setting up the Exercise Program – Upper Extremity
Ensure that the patient can comfortably grip the handle.

Use the optional armrest (pictured above) for patients with limited mobility. Make sure the patient’s arms
are comfortably secured.

To change the handles, depress the pin on the handle (pictured above). The armrest or handles can then be
removed. On replacement, the new handles will automatically snap into place. Make sure the handles are
securely in place before use.

Rotate the handles by hand (without the motor) through one full revolution with the patient’s arms in
position and the legs comfortably placed on the floor or wheelchair supports. Ensure that the cranks can
move freely, and that movement of the arms is not restricted.
