MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE
When taking turbidity measurements, several basic rules should be followed:
• Always use cuvettes without scratches or cracks because they can cause inaccurate readings.
• Always cap the cuvettes to prevent spillage of the sample from spilling the instrument.
• Always close the cuvette cover during measurement.
• To prevent contamination of the optical system, do not use too mush silicon oil.
To take turbidity measurements:
• Turn the instrument ON by pressing ON/OFF.
When dashes are displayed on the LCD, the
instrument is ready. The current time appears in
the upper left corner of the display and the
mode name appears on the right side of the
LCD, in the message line.
• Fill a clean, dry cuvette with 10 mL of sample up to
the mark, only handle the cuvette by the top.
