Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Always disconnect the mains plug before working on the device.
The socket must be protected by a residual current circuit breaker with a rated
residual current of 30 mA.
RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Do not expose the gas cylinder to direct sunlight / excessive heat.
DANGER
Danger to life due to the possible bursting of CO
2
gas container.
Set up and secure the pressurised gas container vertically.
Never connect pressurised gas containers without a pressure reducer and
without a safety valve. The pressure reducer with safety valve must be approved
for use in the type of device.
Sufficiently ventilate the installation room or install a suitable gas warning
system. The country-specific legal requirements regarding the prescribed
minimum room size, warning systems and ventilation during the emptying of
pressurised gas containers must be observed.
Danger of suffocation from escaping carbon dioxide.
Do not connect a CO
2
cylinder with a riser pipe. Riser pipe cylinders are
marked with a red warning sticker, for example.
Health hazard due to contamination with germs.
Health hazard due to non-observance of filter cycles.
Health hazard due to an improperly repaired device.
During initial installation and any repairs involving the replacement of accesso-
ries, ensure that only the enclosed parts (connection kit, seals, CO
2
pressure
regulator) are used. These parts are components that have been approved by
Hansgrohe for installation. These components have been tested and certified to
meet the high quality standards of Hansgrohe quality standards certification.
Other components must not be used.
WARNING
• Pay particular attention to hygiene and cleanliness when replacing the filter
cartridges.
• Do not touch the water outlet with your fingers or clean it with a cleaning cloth.
If necessary, soak a sterile cloth with commercially available disinfectant and
use to wipe.
• Chemical cleaning must be carried out at least every 6 months.

doubt, wait 24 hours after setting up the device before putting it into operation.
Failure to do so may damage the cooling unit.
• The drilling template must be used to ensure the necessary minimum distance to
the walls.
• A level surface must be available on site for setting up the device.
• The power connection and water inlet pressure must correspond to the values
on the type plate
(see page 18).
• The mains plug, socket and angle valve must be freely accessible even after
installation.
• Do not cover any ventilation openings.
