The shower panel version for wall
installation is also available with lighting.
The lighting comprises 6 x 12V halogen
bulbs G4, 5Watt each. It is arranged
around the overhead shower with a
circular transparent light cover.
The lighting is activated when the shut-
off valve is turned on and it remains on
for appx. 2 minutes after the valve is
turned off.
The automatic switch-on function can be by-passed by fitting an external switch. (This switch
is not supplied).
The socket for the power supply is situated in the roof of the shower panel. Please make sure
to provide enough extra cable to allow for the panel. to be taken off the wall for servicing.
A mains power point is needed to connect the panel to the electricity supply. An external
transformer converts your 240 Volt power supply into a safe 12 Volt voltage to operate the
lighting.
The Shower Panel must only be fitted by an authorised electrican, according to the British
safety standards. Please ensure that the voltage and current on the rating plate (230V/50Hz
AC) aggrees with your power supply.
Disconnect power supply before any work is carried out on the panel.
The transformer rating is 35VA. The electric cable must be fed through a hollow pipe, see
page 3. A length of cable to transformer is supplied. Instal the transformer in a dry area and
not more than 7m away from the shower panel. The transformer should be easily accessible.
We do not replace connection cable which has been damaged during installation. Never
operate the transformer if the cable is damaged.
Replacement of halogen bulbs,
To replace the halogen bulbs unscrew the retaining ring which holds the light cover. It is held
by three Philipps screws and can be found behind the overhead shower. Remove transpa-
rent cover (there is no need to dismantle the overhead shower) the halogen bulbs are in the
light cover from where they can be easily removed and replaced.
