NOTICE
Risk of damage!
The refrigerator may not work properly if it is exposed
to temperatures that are colder than the lower limit
of the temperature range for which it is designed for
longer periods.
• Observe the temperature limits.
• Select the location according to the temperature lim-
its and set the temperature according to the ambient
temperature (see “Intended use” on page 4).
To achieve the highest possible cooling performance with the low-
est energy consumption, choose a location that
– is not too warm, is dry and well ventilated,
– is not exposed to direct sunlight and
– is at least 2.5 m
3
in size.
We do not advise positioning the appliance next to an oven, stove
or radiator.
Spacing
Abide by minimum distances:
– to electric stoves: 3 cm,
– to oil and coal burning stoves: 30 cm,
– to refrigerators: 2 cm,
– to washing machines/dishwashers: 2 cm.
If these distances cannot be maintained, place an insulating plate
in-between.
To ensure adequate air circulation, do not place the refrigerator di-
rectly against the wall, but rather allow for a gap of at least 3.8 cm.
Ventilation cross-sections
To achieve sufficient ventilation around the refrigerator for safety
reasons, the specifications of the necessary ventilation cross-sec-
tion must be adhered to.
Ventilation of the compressor and condenser occurs through an
opening that must be present underneath the kitchen cabinet (size
of the opening: 200 cm
2
).
There must also be an opening on top of the kitchen cabinet to
make sure that air can escape (size of the opening: 200 cm
2
).
