Information
• Keep children away from the oven!
Installing the oven into an upright
cabinet reduces the risk of children
burning themselves on the oven
door.
• Let the oven cool down completely
before you clean it.
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Steam is generated through the build
up of heat within the device when
cooking dishes, and can cause scald-
ing when coming into contact with the
skin.
• Make sure that, whilst the oven is in
operation, you do not come into con-
tact with the hot steam coming out of
the extractor fan.
• Make sure that, when opening the
oven door, you do not come into
contact with the hot steam rising in-
side the oven.
• Never pour water directly into the hot
oven. The resulting steam is a scald-
ing hazard.
• Allow hot water from the oven to cool
before pouring it out.
WARNING
Fire hazard!
There is an increased risk of fire in
timer mode! Please ensure that you
always observe the following when
using the timer:
• Before starting the timer, please
make sure to inform all members of
the household so that they do not put
anything flammable in the oven.
• Monitor the oven while using the
timer in order to prevent spills and
burning.
• Please note that fats, oils and alco-
hol can catch fire quickly when heat-
ed.
• Never leave the oven unattended
when grilling in timer mode!
WARNING
Fire hazard!
The oven is a fire hazard. Food can
burn. Baking paper or other flamma-
ble objects in or near the oven can
catch fire.
• Never open the door if there is a fire
in the oven!
• Never attempt to extinguish burning
oil or fat with water!
• In case of fire, immediately turn all
switches to zero and unscrew the
fuses.
• Once the fire has been extinguished,
have the appliance checked by our
Service team (see page GB-32).
• Do not cover cakes or roasts with
baking paper during cooking.
• Do not allow food, baking parchment
and aluminium foil to come into con-
tact with the heating elements.
• Do not place food to be grilled too far
back towards the heating element. It
is particularly hot there; fats, oils and
baking paper can catch fire.
• Only ever operate the oven with the
oven door closed.
• Do not use the oven as a storage
place.
