Operation
Simple grilling
For simple grilling, only the inner grill elements
are in operation.
On the highest shelf, directly underneath the
heating element, small or medium-sized por-
tions of meat, fish or poultry can be grilled at the
same time.
1. Use the left toggle switch

to set the heating
method to “Simple grilling”.
2. Use the right toggle switch
14
to set the tem-
perature.
3. Press the button
11
and preheat the oven
for a few minutes.
4. Spread the food out on the oven rack.
5. Place the oven rack on the upper or middle
shelf.
6. Place the dripping pan underneath.
7. Close the oven door.
Please note!
• The grilling time is approx. 6-10 minutes
per side depending on the thickness and
type of food being grilled.
Intensive grilling
Intensive grilling means that both grill elements
as well as the upper heating element of the oven
are in operation.
Intensive grilling with convection
Grilling with the fan does not have such an in-
tense effect as surface grilling. However, you
can grill larger pieces of meat and fish. The food
being grilled does not need to be turned.
1. Place the food on the oven rack on the mid-
dle shelf in the oven.
2. Spread the food out on the oven rack.
3. Use the left toggle switch

5. Place the dripping pan underneath.
6. Close the oven door.

• The grilling time is approx. 20-25 minutes
per side depending on the thickness and
type of food being grilled.
Drying with convection
(desiccating)
Please note!
• Keep the oven door slightly open for juicy
fruit (e.g. plums) in the first 20-30 minutes
(e.g. with a wooden spoon) so that mois-
ture can escape.
• You will need to plan for different drying
times depending on the quality of the food.
– Juicy fruit and vegetables: 10 to 20 hours
– Other food (e.g. mushrooms): 6 to 8
hours
– Herbs, bunched: 4 to 6 hours
1. Place the reserved food on the baking tray
and position it on the middle shelf in the
oven.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Use the left toggle switch

to set the cook-
ing function to “Convection”.
4. If necessary, use the right toggle switch

to
set the temperature to 60–80 °C.
5. Press the button
